DIY Custom Bar

Let me show you how to build a DIY Bar. In this video I show you step by step how to make a DIY Bar. This DIY bar is an easy build using only 2x4 and 2x8 material. I build my own table legs by laminating two 2x4's together with wood glue. Then I construct the frame using Kreg pocket hole construction. Once the frame is done, the X detail is added on the ends. We build the top using the same Kreg jig to join the top together. If you put casters on the feet, you could easily make this into a diy bar cart. This is basically a tall table. I paint the frame using a HomeRight paint sprayer with two coats of Sherwin Williams Primer followed by two coats of Sherwin Williams Pro Classic biscuit white paint. The table top is stained using Cabot Special Walnut with a Varathane water based polyurethane. After everything is dry, we attach the top and deliver our finished product. This painted base with a stained top gives this bar the farmhouse look that is so popular right now. Making your own DIY furniture is fun and rewarding.
