How to Build a Thin Blue Line Flag

How to build a thin blue line flag.  Building a thin blue line flag is easy to do with the right materials and tools.  If you want to make a thin blue line flag wall art, watch the video.  This DIY thin blue line flag is a nice statement piece to support police officers. You can also use this method to make a thin red line flag or you can build an American flag.  This same format can be used to make a flag out of wood in many styles. I build this thin blue line flag out of wood.  I use 1x material and I cut them into 1 1/2" strips.  The Union of the flag I used 1x6 and ripped them to size.  You can use a 1x12 or even plywood for the union of you wanted.  Below is a list of materials mentioned and used in the video (Amazon affiliate links).

Thanks to Cam at Edmonds_Woodshop https://www.instagram.com/edmonds_woodshop/ for the dimensions and help with the flags I build.

The strips are cut 6 at 37 inches.  7 at 22 1/2 inches.

The blue color I used for the stripe is Sherwin Williams Blueblood.
