DIY Modern Outdoor Sofa Sectional
This is what the sectional looks like un-stained
Mrs. 731 wanted an outdoor sectional for our deck. She designed this sectional with an angled back for comfort and so that it would fit common sized outdoor cushions. I build this beautiful outdoor sofa based on her rough sketch and had step by step build plans drawn up so that you could build one for yourself! This post includes bonus content not publicly released on the channel (see end of post if interested).
This DIY outdoor sofa is made with common lumber that you can buy at your local home store. I used 2x6 pine and 1x6 spruce to make this. We used an outdoor finish to help protect the wood. The only special tools that I used is a Massca pocket hole jig. Other than that just a saw and a drill is all you need to build this amazing outdoor sofa sectional! Notice I plugged the pocket holes to prevent water from getting in there.
