DIY Modern Outdoor Sofa Sectional
Mrs. 731 wanted an outdoor sectional for our deck. She designed this sectional with an angled back for comfort and so that it would fit common sized outdoor cushions. I build this beautiful outdoor sofa based on her rough sketch and had step by step build plans drawn up so that you could build one for yourself! This post includes bonus content not publicly released on the channel (see end of post if interested).
This DIY outdoor sofa is made with common lumber that you can buy at your local home store. I used 2x6 pine and 1x6 spruce to make this. We used an outdoor finish to help protect the wood. The only special tools that I used is a Massca pocket hole jig. Other than that just a saw and a drill is all you need to build this amazing outdoor sofa sectional! Check out the video below to see how I built this woodworking project.

ROUGH EDIT version build video. This version of the video has not been made public. If you are interested in watching this video, be advised it doesn’t have graphics, music, etc. It also includes some deleted clips from the public version as well is missing some clips that made the final cut. If you would prefer the more polished version, watch it here. With that in mind, if you still want to watch, enjoy! This version does include a little more detail on the build, so it may be of value to you, and that is the reason I posted it. Let me know in the comments if you like getting the rough cut versions. If so, I’ll try to do it for future videos.
