In this post and video I will show you how to make a modern outdoor chair. This is an easy beginner woodworking project. I used pocket hole joinery to keep this project approachable. I also used common yellow pine that you can get at your local lumber store or big box stores like Home Depot or Lowes.

You can build this mini workbench for less than $20 in lumber. It only weighs about 20 pounds! All it takes is two, eight foot 2x10 pine boards from your local lumber or big box store.

In this video, let me show you how to make a DIY framed chalkboard. I build this wooden chalkboard out of 1/4" plywood and a couple 1x4's cut down to 3" wide.
