I wish I had built a cross cut sled years ago. Truth is, I tried to make one early on. Before I had a YouTube channel and had just started woodworking. I had no clue what I was doing and made a pretty good mess of it. This time was different. This cross-cut sled is SUPER SQUARE! This table saw sled is likely the most accurate think in my shop now. I followed Jonathan Katz-Moses video showing the 5 cut method to square the fence up.

I really like that the sled has integrated clamping system for better safety. The Matchfit dovetail clamps are awesome. I used them on the jointing sled a few weeks back and love them. They are easy to do using just a trim router and a straight edge.

The other thing I love about this sled is the stop block system. The Katz-Moses stop blocks area awesome to have on the sled so I can make repeatable cuts. They are made of all metal construction and are very solid!

Using the Matchfit system also allows me to have an adjustable fence on the crosscut sled. This is a nice extra to have on the sled for miter cuts. Check out the material list for this build below.
