My First Time Using a Dado Stack and It Was AWESOME!

WOW, have I been missing out for years! Why did I not buy a dado stack sooner? This was an eye opening experience for sure. Dado stacks are very scary at first, let me tell you. You can hear the air moving as those blades spin. But once I started cutting with the, everything sent smooth as butter. They glide through the wood easily. This dado set can be micro adjusted to fit anywhere from 1/8” all the way to 13/16” width of a cut. That makes cutting dados (aka grooves), half laps, rabbets, and even tongue and grooves. These are very versatile blades! Check out my video below showing you my experience using a dado stack for the first time. I’ll also include some full resolution pictures of the dado stack below the video if you want to check those out.
