These woodworking build plans will show you step-by-step how to build an outdoor chair. This project is very easy and perfect for beginner woodworkers. You can build this chair with basic tools. I built this chair using only a circular saw, drill and impact driver. You only need a way to cut the wood and drive screws. I used common pine boards found at your local home store and spent less than $50 on materials. It only took me about 1 1/2 hours to build the chair from start to finish.
These chairs are great for the patio, deck, around the fire pit, or even on a beach. If using common pine and leaving outdoors exposed to the weather, I recommend applying an outdoor finish. I like Cabot Australian Wood Oil (found at Lowe’s, Home Depot, etc.).
